At Mozambique Renewables we address vital and immediate climate-related issues in Africa by tackling their primary causes through the development of win-win projects that incorporate sustainability and carbon capture at their core and benefit the socio-economic welfare of local communities and investors alike.

Women, in particular, play a key role in all of our projects. Women subsistence farmers are the engines that run rural Africa and addressing their immediate domestic needs in a sustainable and affordable way has a surprisingly positive effect on the environment.

Replacing charcoal with sustainable agricultural residues drastically reduces deforestation and this intervention along with a holistic agroforestry program is key to restoring Africa's forests and precious eco-systems as well as providing food security to rural communities.
